Oven or Air Fryer

Asparagus develops a lovely, rich flavour when roasted!

Wash the asparagus and cut the hard parts on the lower ends by 2-3 cm and peel the bottom 1/3 with the help of a vegetable peeler. 

In an oven preheated to 200°C, the asparagus coated in olive oil and salt will cook in 10-15 minutes.

Orset your Air Fryer to 200°C. Toss the asparagus with 2 teaspoons of olive oil, some spices if desired, garlic salt and cook for 5-7 minutes. Your crispy and healthy asparagus are ready in a very practical and short time!

Shoot Thickness + Air Fryer Cooking Time:

  • Thin (like a pencil): 3 - 4 minutes
  • Medium (between a pencil and a marker pen): 5-6 minutes
  • Thick (like a marker pen): 7-9 minutes

 

Asparagus in the lead role

Add a couple of fresh cloves of garlic and a little freshly grated of lemon zest. Grill for 10 minutes.

Use your roasted asparagus to stir through a risotto, or a creamy pasta dish or just serve next to a salmon in the oven.
